Ocean Rodeo stick shift bar

I got a chance to try out the Ocean Rodeo stick shift bar today. I was that excited to try it out. I put it on our Zian Hantu 12m in a 15 knot westerly and first impressions was it looked so neat and tidy almost simple in its design. It looked as if they had thought of everything. Power up and depower on the knob or bump it to depower. A few people have asked about sand and debris getting into it. It has an open back so washing it out is easy. The next question that comes to everyones mind is it worth the price. In my honest opinion it depends on the type of riding you do and budget. For foiling, surf riding and high wind speed riding YES, for the average bloke cruising around on flat water it depends on your budget. For foiling you can adjust without changing your balance point. For surfing theres no reaching for trim or messy cleat and trim lines and for high wind there is no risk of losing an edge when reaching for the trim line when overpowered. Its not for everyone but  it is an awesome product and whoever has one will love it and not want to go back to the conventional bar.
